Hello and greetings from Beth Haven Baptist Church,

Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Josh Carter, and I am the New Co-Pastor here at Beth Haven Baptist Church.  My family and I moved here in November 2022 to assist Pastor Rick here in the ministry.  Beth Haven Baptist Church is a unique missions minded ministry with a very broad vision. Which includes, the Hope Addictions Ministry that has spread around the globe and keeping Pastor Rick rather busy.

One of the areas I am taking oversight in is the undergraduate side of Beth Haven Baptist Seminary.  Pastor Rick will be administrator of the Graduate studies for those seeking their masters, doctorates, and counseling certification.   Brother Dave Fraunhofer will still be filling the roll of Vice President and administrator of the seminary.  I am very excited to take part in the training and preparing of men and women for the ministry.  As well to work with the wonderful staff here at Beth Haven.

Let me give you a brief history of my ministry experience.  I had the privilege of being raised in a Pastors home.  My father, Rick Carter Sr., has planted churches for over 40 years. I graduated from Heartland Baptist Bible College in 2003.  In the last 20 years I have had the privilege of spending 5 years as a staff member and 15 years as a Pastor. We’ve had the joy of starting two churches while pastoring and helping in the training of men called to preach under our ministry.

Our goal here at Beth Haven has been and will continue to be assisting local churches in the training of men and women for the ministry.  Our desire is that every local church would hold on to its most valuable resources.  We want to put the ministry training tools in the hand of every pastor, allowing pastors and local churches to keep their Sunday School teachers, bus workers, Jr Church leader at home. This will enable them to assist their local church ministry while also receiving valuable training.
